I'll take a little bacon and take a little beans
And fight the bloody British at the town of New Orleans Yes its time for the Battle of New Orleans anniversary at Chalmette Battlefield. There will be a wreath laying at the Monument 10:00 AM Thursday Jan. 8. Friday Jan.9 a living history encampment from 9:00AM-3:30PM and a shootout reenctment of the night battle of Dec23, 1814 at 7:00 PM (Yes folks this time it really is at night) Saturday Jan 10 a living history encampment from 9:00AM-3:30PM and a Candlelight Tour Sat. night.
