I still go to the local Comic shop once a week, to pick up my weekly fix of comics, and to check out the new gaming stuff.

I often overhear the kids who work there having fun "geek" conversations, the kind that I don't have very often anymore ("Which comic book movie is best?" "Who would win in a fight between Superman, Supreme, Majestic, Apollo, and the Sentry?" and so on.)

They were having another one (about the current Hulk movie) the last time I was in there, and it reminded me of one of my more memorable (and geeky) conversations.

As I recall, it was a very slow day, there were few customers in the store, and we were all standing around reading comics. The inevitable question came up – "If you could date any female superhero, who would it be?"

Our sports card guy, Scott, said Power Girl (buxom supergirl knockoff). Another said "Danger Girl" (superspy chick from an Image comic), another said Supergirl (can't go wrong with the classics). A couple of customers chimed in with "Lady Death" (THE POWER!!!) and "The Wasp" (because he dug petite women, and she could get him into cool nightclubs).

Myself, I picked 'Tigra' from the West Coast Avengers, because she's rich, and the cat girl thing is kinda hot.

Finally, our manager, Matt, told us his choice – Triplicate Girl from the Legion of Superheroes. "Because there's three of her".

We all conceded that he'd made the best choice.

Ahhh… those were fun times.

Ya Danger Girl's pretty hot ..Abbey Chase I assume they meant ..Danger Girl is of course the name of the organization. Unless he meant all three?

I still have a box of old Adventure comics from about 1968. I think I have the issue in which one of the Triplicate Girls was killed and then there was just two of her. She became Duplicate Damsel, or something like that.

At my first job at a law firm, the lawyer asked me who was my favorite superhero and would he be able to beat Superman in a contest.

You should have a good answer to that to be a lawyer.
