I tried an experiment, and added to an "old" off topic movie topic.
TMP link My addition is the comment about "Vern" at the end.
It does not show up in the new PLUS boards, and is inaccesible from the fromt page under the old listings. Does that mean that there are two kinds of PLU"S topics, but with the same titles? I am confused, if you can't tell already. |

Does that mean that there are two kinds of PLU"S topics, but with the same titles? No, but it means: * the old topic listings for off-topic boards (on the TMP homepage) are defunct (the links are no good)
* the old topic listings won't update However, the topic listings in the forum itself are fine. |

Dunno about that, but it made me realize you can't search the new sub-section (like the lounge, news, etc…) |

Because I'm an idiot. OK, I only just discovered that there's a separate search function for the Plus, Lounge, Marketplace, Exchange, etc… boards. I've just always assumed that because they didn't show up in the message board searches that they weren't searchable. Duh. So, would it be possible to add search functions for Hobby News & News Talk? And ideally, one that covers the whole website, or possibly allows the user to select which areas are searched? |
