So, following Alxbate's previous curiosity TMP link , I think we know have definitive proof of at least one aspect of the identity of the Thing in the Box (or the Thing in the Darkness): As I suspected, it is definitely an immature monster of some sort. link So, anyone else have thoughts? |

Is that the same thing that hides in the shade of a pink parasol? |

I kinda like the unknown aspect of the thing in the box. |

Man, I have no idea. I like your ideas of it being a small young earth dragon, and I agree with your assessment of it being Neutral (but probably really scary looking, easily confused with an evil monster – I think that Xykon thinks it's evil-er and smart-er than it really is). |

As for what level the players are, Rich Berlew has said himself he hasn't given them a specific level; he likes the flexibility of being able to use them however for a joke to work. Poor O-Chul. But at least he's not Miko

Is that the same thing that hides in the shade of a pink parasol? One and the same. You know, I can't recall
is there a reason it's in a box now and not using the parasol? |

Duh. It's a grue. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue. :-) |

Nah, it's clearly a young-ish hybrid offspring of a Terrasque and a Giant Space Hamster. The real question is what *type* of Giant Space Hamster

My favorite Giant Space Hamster was always the Miniature Giant Space Hamster. |
