Still a disturbing situation for fans of DC, but really, neither party involved benefits from DC losing one of its most iconic characters. Eventually, DC will cut them that huge check and be done with it. They're really arguing about how big is "huge" here.

jgawne: Not sure what you mean by an EU version of "this." International copyright law is handled by treaties, and it is very different from US copyright law (although it has become more uniform in recent years, I believe). None of this affects Superman's international rights.
