May he rest in peace. He sure brought quite a few laughs to many among us.

Got the comic in front of me as I type. Howard the Duck was one of the reasons I got hooked into American Comics in the first place. As a youngster I'd travel up to London with my mate, and he would be running around buying back issues of the Uncanny X-Men, Defenders or Alpha Flight, and I'd be there picking up my Howard The Duck :-)

Sixty's no age. Another talent gone too soon. Much appreciated for all the entertainment. RIP, Steve.

Damn. Gerber was one of my heroes. I was nearly expelled from school for campaigning for the All Night Party and putting up hand drawn Howard for Prez posters.

Godspeed, Mr. Gerber.

"Something winky this way comes."

One of the greats, it's a sad thing.

Damn! I still have my Howard for Prez '76 sepia-toned "photo" and campaign button.

RIP, Mr. Gerber.
