Comic book fans are idiots. Has a major character ever been really done away with, ever? They always come back in some form or another. That someone else is under the mask doesn't alter the cop-out all that much. I'm only surprised they managed to wait for a whole year.

I knew it would be Bucky! |

I think that someone taking up the uniform does alter the cop out quite a bit. I mean the guy actually still died. Just because someone else puts on the uniform doesn't mean that he's really back. Not only that but it is sort of a government job, maybe even a position rather than a person. Just because Steve Rogers died doesn't mean that Captain America is done as a concept. Besides how many James Bonds have their been? Of course, the lame thing is, that Bucky died too. :) |

As far as I'm concerned, Bucky died back in 1945 on that experimental drone plane that Baron Zemo stole and booby-trapped. |

Comic book fans are drama queens. They need a little excitement to keep the 50+ year soap opera going. |

Steve Rogers will be back (or his clone, or his earlier self brought back from the past to the present) |

Steve Rogers will be back (or his clone, or his earlier self brought back from the past to the present) Not that I read any comics, but hey, if 'Star Trek' can play with time travel (especially during the whole run of 'Enterprise'), why not good ol' Captain America? As for cloning? Bah! Too easy.

I knew it would be Bucky! What does the cat in "Get Fuzzy" have to do with this? |

I did not like the idea of Bucky being alive. (For a long time the only 3 permanent dead Marvel characters were Uncle Ben, Bucky and Captain Marvel. Now Bucky is alive and Captain Marvel is around again too (even though he also is still dead. It seems that he was transported from a moment of time prior to his death to current Marvel time)). Also now Captain America (who symbols the USA) is now being a former assassin? (Bucky was sort of a hitman for the Russians during his time of supposed dead) Not sure if I like that either. But even though I do not agree with the above ideas at least the story by Brubaker is good and though continuity changed it was destroyed ( a la Spieder-Man). So I can continue too read and enjoy the title. |

If it gets tooo bad,Wanda Maximoff and Tattletale can retcon everything so the good guys are alive, the country hasn't done anything stupid and Franklin's little sister,Val can mother baby Bratz (or real infant,Ben Parker III) with Mayday Parker and Luna Maximoff while he,the Power Pack and Wanda's boys,Henry and William fight evil doers. |
