Just opened a voicemail left on my cell phone- it was several minutes worth of classical music (couldn't identify the piece). This is the second one I've gotten in about 4 months. Has anyone else had this happen, or know what this is about? I'm not alarmed, but extremely confused.

I've had it happen from outfits that use automated calling. When your voicemail prompts their computer for a message the caller responds with an electronic "Please hold" followed the classical music.

Only happens to me when the wife accidentally bumps the autodial button while driving. I usually get several minutes of whatever she happens to be listening to on the radio.

Once had a voice mail from a lady with an incredibly sexy voice. She sounded a little bit inebriated. She left me very sexually suggestive message, stating she wanted to see me very badly.
Bummer that is was a wrong number, and my wife said I couldn't call her back.

I get that when my wife calls me from her hospital phone. If she doesn't hang up quickly, the phone system takes over and puts voice mail on hold and plays it music.

I got a really weird message on my answering machine a few years ago. I had to listen to it about a dozen times before I was able to get the gist of it.

Basically, it was some young asian girl with a very strong accent and she was extremely angry. (My guess is that she is/was a student at the local university.) What had her so upset was that someone had been at her apartment while she had been at work (a roommate or visitor, I suppose), and had eaten some cold chicken she had saved for herself to eat when she got home from work. She ended the message by calling the offending party a "CHEEKAN STEE-LAH!", and then made a very angry chicken sound "BAWWWWWWWWWK!"

I saved the call and finally recorded it to my computer. It's pretty hilarious and too good to delete.

My office number is very similar to a local travel agency. Everytime I go back to work after the Christmas break, I can count on at least one or two messages from frantic travellers who have lost their airline tickets.

Amazing how some folks don't listen to my message which should unequivocally indicate that a maintenance department of a university is not even closely related to a travel agency!
