I haven't seen a new issue of DT in at least six months…
I know that John is very busy with some personal family things, and other projects, but what is the publishing status of DT?
It's looking like it's going to be on par with the publishing schedule of "The Courier"…

Nope…I'm talking the printed comic book. I'm online there every week.

Thanks.

He quit publishing it to concentrate on the child superhero one. Seems the sales just weren't good enough. :(

He quit the mainstay of his line to work on PS238???

Weird enough, the DT sales were very steady and constant…

That is what he posted on the on-line comic site. Didn't make much sense to me either.

PS238 is created by Aaron Williams link not John Kovalic – although they have worked together previously.

Doctor Blink, Superhero Shrink, and SnapDragons – his two other titles were fillers in the Dork Tower books rather than stand-alones.

I couldn't find anything on his website about no longer publishing Dork Tower (except as compilations of the webcomic) but I suspect that Apples to Apples and Out of the Box Games – of which he's a co-owner – is keeping him busy.

You are right, I was thinking of Nodwick not DT. See what happens when you post early on a MONDAY without enough caffinne in the system.

FWIW, I'm actually pretty happy that PS238 is getting more of Aaron Williams' time. I didn't dislike Nodwick, but PS238 is very, very clever most of the time, and it's really good at gently poking fun at superhero comic book memes.

PS238 is even getting it's own Champions book.

So Nodwick is completely gone? No wonder that I didnīt find an issue in some time. I agree that PS238 is in some ways the better book but I also liked Nodwick. Aaron Williams was unique in that he did two different ongoing indie books all by him alone. I can understand that that might have become to tough to handle.

I still donīt understand that PS238 has not yet been picked up by a movie or TV producer. I would make for great all ages entertainment.

Wasn't PS238 acknowledged as a major inspiration for the movie Sky High?

Don't forget that Kovalic is doing the art for every Munchkin expansion, and there have been quite a few of those.
