PDA's, EDA's, XDA's etc, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS or any other mobile communication devices. I've been handed a new project to look into all of these kind of devices with a view to intergrating them into educational use. I'm currently looking up the specifications on various units regards their communication protocols, but my remit is an open book. I have a free hand into what I can investigate regards using any of these devices within a classroom or other use within education. If anyone works with, coes or developes for, or has any significant dealings with any of these type of devices, can you please drop me a line.

I can then talk further about the topic. Also, I'm ideally looking to speak with people familiar with coding for the DS as I have some ideas of how to make this a very useful educational device and want to discuss buisness ideas with someone, and to also learn the limits of the unit in view of these ideas. Sorry I cannot give any further details here. Please drop me a line if you can help at all.

Thanks

Scott

The easiest would probably be an iPaq or similar- if you're already familiar with Visual Studio its not that difficult to target Windows Mobile instead of the desktop.

I had my wife pick up a 2GB microSD card in the Black Friday sales- the thought is that I'll order an R4 soon and start poking around with some DS programming, but since it will be a hobby project I can't say when I'll ever get around to it.

If you are looking to program the DS I would order the pass-thru device soon- I read an article somewhere in the US mass media about how the pass-thru devices allow piracy, etc. so my guess is it won't take too long for Nintendo to start trying to shut the vendors down.
