I have an I-pod mini and when I play an album there is a noticable pause between songs. It's been a long enough time since I set it up but I thought there was a choice of having the songs play seemlessly. I'm not seeing anything in the menus of the player, or in I-tunes. Am I looking in the wrong place or am I mistaken about that feature? Thanks ahead of time for any help. |

Look in the "info" for the individual tracks in iTunes. The best way to do it is select all the tracks on the album you want, then pick "info." It will bring up a screen showing all the common elements, and you should find an option for "seamless play" or somesuch. |

In iTunes when burning from the CD, select all the tracks that run together and select "Merge tracks". They should burn as one file instead of seperate files. |

It's more about how the files are created from the CD. Even CDs like Pink Floyd's "The Wall" that pretty much have no breaks between song when played on a CD player, end up having a break. I tried in vain (vein?) in the past to rip the entire disc as one "song" but couldn't get it to work. Note, this is my experience with a differnet source than Itunes and Ipod |

Look for information on ripping CDs for 'gapless' playback. The source media should already be in gapless format, but there are software packages that allow you to change music to this format. Then iTunes can be configured for gapless playback. |
