Does anyone here have any idea or know's how to download DVD's (films) from computer on to an ipod video, or can it not be done ?.

You'd probably have to "rip" the DVD just like you would a CD and then use iTunes to copy it onto the iPod.

I use this fella, I'm one of the sad gits who pay for this stuff, USD30 is not a great deal at the UK exchange rate. The transfer process can be done using freeware but it's too much hassle for me, I like just to hit one button rather than rip it, stick it all together, convert it etc etc.

I think you can download this and try it without buying it but it only does like 5 minutes of video then stops or something.
