Doug and family, my deepest condolences. I lost my father on December 21, 2002. To me he was a real American hero.

Thank you all for your kind remarks and your sincere e-mails to me also. He was a real father to me and friend. I will greatly miss him, however, I know where he now resides and one day I will take up residence in heaven with him. His health was failing the last few months but now he is breathing Celestial air in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ whom he loved and followed.
God Bless you all.

Doug, I am so sad to read this. As you say, your dad is fine; the loss is ours. I always admired your father's work and artistry over the years, and he never disappointed. Clearly he was a man who observed and replicated the world with interest and joy.

My prayers to you and your family. Please extend my condolences to Ms. Marie Carroccio.
