I have been running convention games using Combat Patrol(TM): World War II for over a year. I find these cards very helpful in setting up my scenarios. You can still print blank ones for any special stuff not covered in the standard cards, but these are a great jump start. They are also helpful for club nights. Hand out the cards, let people hunt for the figures in your box, and start gaming.

There are more cards being planned for other nationalities.

I love the activation system . but I like to roll my bad dice still so I use Battleground for that.

I find that people who roll bad dice (like me) draw equally bad cards. :)

But you can resolve combat pretty quickly in Combat Patrol. For those of you who haven't seen them, there are some movies on the rules' Web page: link. These videos show how the game works.
