Yikes! Other than the usual scan line issues, the .50-cal AA MG shouldn't be thicker than the main cannon!

Man, these releases have become a running joke on a near daily basis.

What causes these scan lines? I have ordered 3D printed items from Shapeways with no lines. A case of printing at a lower "resolution?"

Cheaper printer or a faster low resolution setting.

Buckeye, as someone who 3D prints daily, I can tell you he is running his printer too fast and at lower settings in order to turn out more product. Quantity over quality. Also, he should have just left the .50 without a barrel and glued on a hair thin piece of wire.

That is a decent enough print. Much better than some he's posted. Still requires a light skim of filler and the replacement of the MG barrel for a piece of wire, as mentioned above.

Or for £5.00 GBP more in 28mm you can get 1 from Warlord which doesn't have lines all over, with a correctly scaled MG and decals.

Or just get a 1/72 model from Hasegawa (still the best Chaffee) OR even better, buy the die cast ones that are all over ebay.

At the very least this image looks better than the previous ones but why the heck is this guy running his printer so fast???? How many orders does he fill on a daily basis?
