I guess he beamed out of there before the photo was taken!

Charles Marlow15 Feb 2007 8:15 a.m. PST

Retro goodness…

Thomas Whitten15 Feb 2007 8:20 a.m. PST

Any chance of retro style humanoid aliens that wear sashes and sport goatees? Cranial ridges are optional.

MiniatureReview15 Feb 2007 8:21 a.m. PST

Faron also sculpted those cool Gnomes that Brigade games sells.

"Cranial ridges are optional"

They are a must for me! :)

The empty chairs alone are a must-buy. Bridge chairs, cantina chairs, control room chairs…

Riverbluff Wargames15 Feb 2007 9:26 a.m. PST

No ridges for me thanks.

Now some humanoids with suction cup antennae would be cool as well.

HG Walls15 Feb 2007 9:36 a.m. PST

Wonderful stuff and we all should purchase some just because Faron sculpted them. BTW, Faron Betchley is one of the finest people in our hobby.

No wonder the MAN IN CHAIR has not been selling. Image corrected and thanks for pointing that out!

Johnny,

This next paycheck is already spoken for. However, upon getting the following one, I will definitely place an order for those.

Take care, and keep up the good work.

So THAT'S what MAN IN CHAIR looks like…

Very nice stuff. This would make for some good gaming fun! And you know, terrain I could make would probably photograph as well as the stuff used in ST:TOS!

BlackWidowPilot Fezian15 Feb 2007 11:58 a.m. PST

Fun stuff, but not sufficiently retro enough for my needs! Now if they looked more like occupants of those marvelous flying vacuum cleaners of the old 1930s Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon serials.. evil grin

"No ridges for me thanks."

Let CC havehis ridges. We can file them off.

"Now some humanoids with suction cup antennae would be cool as well."

Yes, that would be nice.

Augustus15 Feb 2007 12:19 p.m. PST

But..where..IS..the…rest…OF…the…crew?!

KAAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!

CmdrKiley15 Feb 2007 1:07 p.m. PST

I suppose these guys will go great with that Grendel Sci Fi Command Chair set that Mega Minis now sells!

Hundvig Fezian15 Feb 2007 1:22 p.m. PST

Now some humanoids with suction cup antennae would be cool as well.

Oh yes, and they also need so pigman aliens.

Dances With Words Fezian15 Feb 2007 1:52 p.m. PST

Would something like THESE work for you Hundvig???

Sgt DWW-yes, I gotta get a set or two of the 'generic' bridge crew too…and several 'extra' chairs!!! 8-)

emckinney15 Feb 2007 3:25 p.m. PST

And now the link to "just chair" goes to a hybrid "chair with/without" page that's seriously hosed. The "man in chair" link goes to exactly the same page.

You broke it.

Inverse15 Feb 2007 4:24 p.m. PST

Awww D-double-W, you've GOT to start producing/re-producing that stuff again, it's just to COOOOOL not to…not to mention I am going to start running *aHEM* 'Trek' again, someday; non-'60's' non-Ain't-a-Prize (Post-Voy, all the way…)

JohnnyBorg15 Feb 2007 5:45 p.m. PST

Damn, I think I finally solved the problem with the links. Chair and Man in chair were sharing the same part number in the system. You should be able to order them seperately now.

Very nice!

Now, we just need a commander's chair, control consoles, more females with longer hair, and some opponents to go with them, armed with dysruptors (spelling twist on purpose).

Top Gun Ace15 Feb 2007 7:38 p.m. PST

A transporter unit would be nice too, along with some long-barreled weaponry.

Cacique Caribe16 Feb 2007 7:59 a.m. PST

Johnny,

Any plans to add to this range any time soon (with some of the suggestions offered by others above)?

Thanks.

I've got an AMT "Enterprise Bridge" model, have y'all seen it? Its got the chair, consul, everything, and Spock, Sulu, Uhura, and Kirk in 1/48 scale as I recall. I bought it cheap from "Green Models" (oop horror, SiFi and garage kits, never built it, but it would be perfect for wargaming as it is designed "Movie Set style"!!!!
