Very nice, revolting peasants there… suppose I'm heading off to North Star then!

SECURITY MINISTER CRITTER07 Feb 2012 9:45 p.m. PST

They are quite well done.

Marks miniatures always look better painted up than primed for pics, they are very painter friendly it's one of the strengths of the range as a whole in my opinion.

Ordered!

legatushedlius08 Feb 2012 4:08 a.m. PST

I agree, these figures are a delight to paint!

Whatever next, warlords from Warlord?

Very nice. Although why on earth do some companies insist we fish around for spears? I want a complete product I can buy in one go and paint.

Oh good, it is nice to see this range expanding. The peasants look generically useful as well though a few might have to be demilitarised and rearmed with sticks or staffs.

mydogbarks08 Feb 2012 5:45 a.m. PST

Northstar does sell spears. With very little effort one only needs to scroll down their product list to – wire spears.

Are there more than just the two horses I hope? Neither of the poses depicted is particularly generic.

At least four different positions, relatively understated, of legs and heads are really necessary to begin to portray real units of horses in motion.

Otherwise great stuff…

mydogbarks08 Feb 2012 8:02 a.m. PST

I think there are three. Shame the saddle is molded to the horse. Crusader Normans fit Conquest mounts well. The horses from Conquest are the best equines that I have painted, and would solve the issue of having similar mounts.

Great. There is no US distributor and Crusader comes out with great minis. This really sucks.

andyfb08 Feb 2012 5:47 p.m. PST

Postage is only 10% for international orders on Crusader figs from North Ster for February. :-)

Cheers Andy :-)

NickNorthStar09 Feb 2012 3:16 a.m. PST

It's even better than that Andy, it's FREE postage world-wide in February.

Just so our American customers know, Warpath, the USA distributor has just placed an order for Crusader Miniatures. Please get in touch with them for availability.

andyfb09 Feb 2012 4:44 a.m. PST

Yep, I got that wrong.

Normally 10% international. February free international post.

Should have more coffee!!!!! :-)

Cheers Andy :-)

I really need that bottom pack

Jim Bowen09 Feb 2012 8:23 a.m. PST

Now all we need are a few well thought out command packs oh and not just sticking a crown on a great helm for the King its not very imaginative

ricepot09 Feb 2012 5:49 p.m. PST

Wish there were more men-at-arms sets and a character set would be nice.
