I hate when I put a book back on the shelf with only the pages pointing out.

It is not that, it is that it is traveling so quickly on its way that it has become much more two-dimensional than it was.

Don't try to pick it up though, you'll hurt yourself.

John, when did you get a shelf!? grin

(Wish I had a shelf!)

The better question is "how did you find any room on the shelves you've got"?

What is the tensile strength of old particle board anyway…

No wonder I can't find it in WH Smiths!

Big Steve26 Jan 2012 1:26 p.m. PST

Particle board tensile strength depends on how many tears have been shed on the shelves. These tears can be generated for a number of reasons. My favorites are: 1 You've double purchased books/rules yet again. 2 You've purchased another rule set that deep down you know you'll never play with but they are cool. 3 You didn't purchase either of the above and now that you've returned from the con you realize your error and will now pay the shipping fee.

I myself have converted to plastic.

We slip in some Dutch on purpose, to keep everyone on their toes. ;-)
Rest assured that the actual cover does not have that particular typo.

I like their new vendor search feature, but they may want to be aware that even though Barnes and Noble are listed as a major vendor, the magazine can't be found on the website. Nor does our local store carry it, even though it's listed as such.

AncientWarfare27 Jan 2012 5:43 a.m. PST

Hi Kevin,
- Do B&N normally sell magazines on their website? I just tried to find some large military history based magazines, but couldn't find them.
- If you tell me which store that is, I'll have our distributor look into it. The map is based on the information we get from them, and is normally pretty accurate.

Hi Jasper,The name is Tim Young, and I live in Bowling Green ,Ky. I would really love to know that my local B&N's carried Ancient Warfare.I have had way to many gameing magazines damaged or just disssappeared going through the U.S. postal service and prefur to buy straight up when I can.

Hi Tim
First off, we always replace damaged or missing issues and we run a constant survey to check quality of our distribution. That said, I'm perfectly happy for you to support your local store, of course! And I think you're in luck. The store locator indicates the B&N on Campbell Ln does indeed carry Ancient Warfare.
