Sweet :-)

I remember downloading the original when it came out way back when.

Ed.. did you ever think it'd get this big?

Never would have guessed, I'm blessed. Owe thanks to a lot of good people out there.

I remember sitting with the original version of Nuts and trying to figure out just what the hell was going on.

That gaming session failed but we all had the feeling that there was /something/ really cool that we hadn't seen before.

When we went back into it, it became our go-to game for a few years, even drawing in people who weren't wargamers at all.

Glad we did.

a question please, does this include or count as an update for Swordplay as well?

i just recently learned about THW system from a post on here on TMP, and am reading the 3.1 final version of swordplay right now.

Hello Stewart -
A similar update for Swordplay will be out next month utilizing similar mechanics but emphasizing melee.

Whats the difference between Final and 2015?

Ed the Two Hour Wargames guy30 Aug 2015 7:21 a.m. PST

cheesesailor77 – What happened is some players were asking for a streamlined version so I mathematically folded some of the Reaction Tables into the shooting and melee procedures to arrive at the same result but with two less steps of dice rolling and Reaction Tests.
Also melees are resolved in one turn and with a cinematic feel. Back and forth fighting is possible, but still resolved in one turn.

Thanks, Ed. That's what you get for labeling something Final, huh? :)
