Well, I won't give a dime to WWP.

Everyone thinks that WWP is this upstanding, fine organization that helps America's wounded warriors. But their staff takes an obscene amount of money for salaries, and expenses. Damned little of their intake actually goes to help any but a select few.

Don't take my word for it. Research them and see what real veterans have to say about them. They are a litigious organization that takes action against anyone and any group that it feels might in any way impact upon their revenue stream.

There are dozens of unrelated real charitable organizations helping wounded veterans who have recieved "cease & desist" letters from the lawyers retained by WWP, even when those other charities have no similar name or even mission statement to WWP.

I'm sure that you guys produce a fine product, but I feel it's terribly unfortunate that you chose to partner with WWP rather than a decent, veteran-supporting charity.

The above is solely my opinion bsed upon my own research and interaction(s) with other veterans and charitable organizations.

Take it for what you will, but please don't be taken in by those slick ads and commercials in the media.

I agree completely. Could not have said it any better.

FWIW, I'm a disabled veteran. I have a little over 5K hours of aircrew time with the US Navy. Yeah, that and $5 USD will get me a small coffee at Starbucks.

BUT……. I keep an eye on these things, and it angers me when I see a group that started out with a fine idea and a noble pursuit turn into this huge corporate non-profit that seems to care more about it's corporate image and revenue stream than in actually helping those folks who they say they exist to help.

Sorry to vent like this, I'll keep quiet now.

TKindred, thank you for your service from a fellow vet. I agree completely with what you said just as much as I appreciate you speaking up to say it. Your voice and your credentials gives it the truth that people need to hear.

Agreed! I stopped donating after I did research on their practices. My money goes elsewhere now. Being a Vet makes me more concerned about where I spend my money on fellow Vets.
