New Line Productions has the license to the LOTR movies and images from them. I would think they'd have to be licensed from the Tolkien Estate over anyone else, but I'm not an attorney. |

I believe Mithril still has the rights for the lore from the books also. I believe that New Line licensed the use of images for miniatures and games to Games Workshop. We all know what their lawyers will do. |
