Must not rob little old ladies. Must not rob banks……….
Those are just great.

Field Marshal06 Feb 2010 3:20 p.m. PST

Just when I thought i had resisted ancients gaming!!!!!!!!!!! Are these suitable for the Peleponesian wars?

TKindred06 Feb 2010 3:47 p.m. PST

Oh my… those are quite lovely. Salute will work out well, because that's about when I hope to get my Caesarian Legion done.

Sigh…….

Very very nice minis!

Gattamalata06 Feb 2010 5:48 p.m. PST

Twenty-eight millimeters to the eyes or the head?

oldbob06 Feb 2010 6:15 p.m. PST

Well the stock market sucks, so might as well buy more Spartans! Very nice figures.

War Minister Crittumbo06 Feb 2010 7:20 p.m. PST

Those are quite nice.

elsyrsyn06 Feb 2010 8:36 p.m. PST

Those are quite stunning. The extra armor pieces (arms, thighs, feet) are, from what I've read, somewhat archaic, but you never know – somebody might still be wearing them in the era of the Persian wars.

How are the plastics coming along?

colin knight07 Feb 2010 3:35 a.m. PST

Plastics are out at Salute according to website. April then I think.

"These figures are slightly bigger than my first hoplites. I have purposely sculpted them in this way to fit in with the upcoming plastics"
As far as I am concerned bigger is always better for 28mm..

Looking forward to buying the plastics in April/May…

I really like the spears too. Will definitely get some plastics..

colin knight07 Feb 2010 3:41 p.m. PST

I agree that the detailed spears will be really good.
