Just as I was about to start a TMP thread entitled "New Years Resolutions for 2025".
First item would have been "No more Plains Indians! You only have over 120 mounted!"

Well….
I guess it's better to break it before I make it. 🙄
Damn. They're nice.

You need Iron Jacket. A Comanche wearing chainmail.

Just ordered me some, by cracky!
Especially after I Googled Plum Creek. That looks like a great scenario.

"I did my research!"
I Googled Iron Jacket and got this.

WOW!

But "the sources" say chainmail, and that's a very imaginative illustration.
Grandfather of Qanah Parker.

Make a lovely figure John_the_OFM
but i believe it may only have been
a slightly rusty chainmail vest…though
Conquistadors wore breast plates as well
though by the time of Apacheria..leather
armour was in vogue..by the Early Apaches
for sure..home made leather breastplates
smothered with sand a animal glue and
painted in natural red.greens,blue,and yellow
and booty armour from decimated Cuera units.
copied by their dreaded enemies the Comanches!
but who knows….!!

It's obviously an imaginary drawing. He is called "Iron Jacket", so a bronze cuirass?
I posted it for the humor, but methinks I should disclaim it. 😄
