Sword is such with purpose. Some people like it to be long. But also it is possible to modify the sword with pliers to more thinner version, as it should be. Metal is soft and allow this but casting thinner swords is problematic. |

I do hope this is not just on Hobby News, if you want real expert input…as from von Winterfeldt. |

Von Winterfeldt may now answer on Forums, as we now are allowed discuss about this promotion there, because this is not new news anymore. It takes full working day to publish photos here, but then all may go as earlier. Until next photo. But as I understand, if you ask me there on Forums about more news and future plans, I must answer here with new posting. So I will post my photos or messages on evening and on next day they will be here. And then I may link them on Forums. |

sword is great, don't change it, in case people like it shorter, like kitchen knife they can shorten it. Collar looks great, but please check the cuffs for the soldier, looks like Swedish cuffs, I was under the impression that they had it in Prussian style as well. As for the cartridge pouch belt, looks good, but maybe a trifle too narrow. You must make me aware if you put such things up in hobby news, there it is difficult to find, in fact it make no sense whatsoever to discuss a WIP sculpt in hobby news. |

by the way I must check about foot wear of the officer, Prussians used in the Revolutionary Wars against regulations short boots and sabres, maybe the Hessians copied this practice as well? |

I do hope this is not just on Hobby News, if you want real expert input…as from von Winterfeldt. As you see, von Winterfeldt can comment here just as he could on the forum. |

Yes indeed I can but it makes no sense there I am not commenting on a new product such as hobby news, like new Perrys miniatures or such like, I comment on a WIP. I can see the logic that new products should be presented here under hobby news and not spread all around in different fora, but for discussing details, or changes, in my view the message boards are better suited. |

One bad thing, we can't see the title picture here when we commenting.
Cuffs are like on pictures in book, you sended me. Also gaiters for officers. All this new policy works like when I want to say "good morning" to my family after wake up, then I enter such request to cencors. If cencors works hard and approve my request then on evening my family get my "good morning" wishes. And drinking my morning coffee, I may get yesterdays "good night" wishes from my family.
But next we will try, how this work when I add 5-6 such separate promotion posts to Hobby News simultaneously every day, as I work with different projects simultaneously. |

LoL LoL LoL, Sho Boki…as the solitary customer dot on your map for Ottawa, Canada, I will be getting your "good morning" in the morning but the next day. But coffee will be day old coffee not morning coffee…no thanks. Lovely to see the Hessians…always something in your works to tempt me. Plus I'm trying out the new policy. My view on policy is the same as someone told me…."sir, this is the army, we don't have logic, we have policy". ;) |

I am sure, that this policy don't last long. But as lawobedient citizens, we will obey and follow the rules. Figures and rules must be separated from wargames as New Policy intended. :-) |
