Anything which adds variety is a good thing!

From some of the preview stuff I read I think many of the missions are quite 'one sided' so it's about how long you can last, not winning.

They've actually done that for years. They've claimed that you are building the-same-points-value forces but we know that ain't always true (unless you're both playing the same codex--and even then you can min-max).
