Another money grab. Nothing wrong with Vallejo paints. |

That's true, but there's nothing wrong with competition either. |

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt Vallejo make these paints for them? What I object to is you get less paint for the money. I believe all these 5 paint sets have 1 20ml bottle and 4 12ml bottles. The standard Vallejo dropper bottle is 17ml. I believe several folks have provided conversion charts for these "new" colors and existing Vallejo paints. |

You can actually get the Flamesofwar conversion chart from the Flamesofwar website. What these sets allow is for a store to stock those paints that would be in high demand without stocking the others. So if you are stocking FoW miniatures and you know people will paint them you can sell the paint sets with the required colors with out having to stock a large array of paints and have customers pick through the rack to find the correct brown, green etc. The sets are fine for what they are. |

If I was to make an impulse buy for Flames of War, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Finding a conversion chart, and then cobbling together a set of paints(inevitably missing a color, and having to re-order) is less appealing to me than grabbing it off the shelf as a unit. If they want to charge me extra for the convenience, that's fine. |

It's £11.00 GBP for 5 paints and Vallejo is £2.45 GBP each. Vallejo got a better discount on the stores I checked so the two end up very close to each other. Just pick whichever you like best. Getting singles for the BF paint is bit more annoying. |

When you can find a store with Vallejo in stock, that is. There seems to be a problem with that these days. (note – I'm only talking online purchases. May be quite different on the ground in Europe) |

Saw it at a nearby brick and mortar game store in the greater Cincinnati ,Ohio area(Specifically,Milford,Ohio). Looks OK. |

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt Vallejo make these paints for them? They used to make the FOW paints. The current supplier is Army Painter. My main complaint against the current FOW paints is that they are only available in these sets. You can't buy individual bottles. |
