Now that's the type of vehicle this method is great for!, will definitely have to get some of these in the new year. Absolutely the antithesis of the heavy sloped models where the print lines stand out. With a base layer/camo then army painter wash and dry brushing these should work nicely. |

Most if not all of the KV tanks listed can be bought as quick-build plastic kits at lower prices in the larger scales (from 1/100 to 1/56), so there is no incentive to buy these inferior products unless the prices can be dropped further. |

Agree with the above – Warlord do a reasonable KV for less than £20.00 GBP – I managed to get hold of a couple off ebay for £15.00 GBP each. You also get one of each turret, so either a KV-1 or KV-2. |

These fill a nice gap in 12mm though – the only KV-2 is really out of scale with the Takara models and straight turret swaps will work better as a big lead turret on a resin hull tends to fall over a lot. |
