75mm figures?

My god: this is scale creep gone mad!

Good job they're not 'heroic' as well…

They are exquisite. I'm in the 20mm range, but these are so well done, you've tempted me to go 28mm.

They are fabulous. They are now on my list to get.

The middle figure (moving) almost looks like he's firing it from the shoulder like a rocket launcher even though that's not the case obviously.

We had a 90mm recoilless rifle that was shoulder fire able.
As long as you can hold it up, firing is no problem.

In fact, I used to repair them while in the Army.

Are these the 57mm or the 75mm?

Phrodon05 Mar 2015 1:42 p.m. PST

I wish these announcements would include some basic information, like figure scale and for rule books, page count. Sure, I can hunt around and click though links and drive up their page visits stats. But is it really so hard to include some of this info?

Disco Joe05 Mar 2015 1:56 p.m. PST

They are 28mm figures.

Discoejoe, the 90mm recoilless was a late sixties design to replace the 1945 design of the 57mm and the 75mm recoilless.

I suspect these should be the 75mm recoilless. A very popular weapon from Korea to SEA.

If they keep this up, I'm going to sell my 20mm French Indo China figures and buy the 28mm.

Great job.

Phrodon,

I share your concern.

Thanks for the info. They look nice but I'll stick with 15mm.

troopwo, I don't believe I asked any questions about the recoiless gun itself. All I did was to answer the question asked about what scale the figures are so if you go back and read what I had posted you will see that.

I have been eyeballing these as well, just because I love the detail on the range. I am a sucker for a beautiful sculpt, and now all I need is some more money.

Warning this sites blog just crashed some parts of my computer and so far from what I can see my entire tool bar has been removed, I can only hope it was not to extensive.

Baconfat06 Mar 2015 1:44 p.m. PST

I'd like an terrorist set with a recoilless too.

Captain dEwell08 Mar 2015 8:05 a.m. PST

Such a marvellous talent and such a cracking range. Well done.
