It's a pity UK producers of war game goods couldn't form an organization and have one rep on the continent for the organization. That may have been able to prevent some companies from going out if business. |

Just in time to pull out of the USA thanks to the new requirements to collect and prepay duty to US Customs for items arriving in the States from 29 August. :-) Link: link |

I suppose losing access to your sweet product should be the least of our worries, but it is a painful 'more of the same'. Doug |

So… again. Nobody read the damn thing. They're now shipping to the EU again. So EU customers can order their products. How is that a bad thing? Sounds like good news for EU customers and the company alike. And actually, yes, the solution for the US (if one is needed) is to contract with a US manufacturer (which in the case of metal miniatures could be a small, one-man shop) to make the product in the US from molds or masters or 3d printer digital files, supplied from the UK (the latter at virtually no cost at all), and have that manufacturer receive a share of the profit, with the UK designers receiving an appropriate royalty. (Good grief, book publishers have been doing this for at least a century, if not longer.) |
