They really had some classic mini's back in the early 1980's, when I was in High School. We bought a few sets, and we even attempted to paint them -- with enamel model paints! The results were awful… I've still got a few of them in my collection. Seeing some of these painted, properly, is quite fun. Cheers!

Ah, Parzival…I too have the same recollections. Somewhere in the recesses of some landfill is a Grenadier Dwarf I painted/massacred with Humbrol paints and no primer.
