This is cool, but how do you get rid of all the ridges in these 3D printed models. My brother has a 3D printer and what it has produced is cool, but suffers from the same problem. Thoughts? |

There are ways to do so. Sanding would be possible, but annoying at this scale. Coating with self-leveling epoxy; or "melting" with the appropriate solvent. The actual solvent varies by the type of 3D printing material used -- acetone in the case of ABS. |
