It's time you expand the Boxer Rebellion range.

I am getting close to buying.

If you buy, I'm sure they'll get closer to expanding the range. grin

What else would you like to see in the Boxer range?

We have Regular infantry and artillery plus lots of Boxers.
We will soon have the first of the legation troops, British light marines with side cap and also with pith helmet.

Hi Keith

Legation troops would be my starting point as they will also fit some of my imagi_nation armies.

British would be popular.

What are the plans for expantion of the napoleonic range?

Keith T20 Mar 2019 10:30 a.m. PST

Hi Gunfreak.
We hope to start on the Republican french later this year, but happy to hear suggestions of figures/armies you would like to see [1793-99 era].

Hi Keith.

For the Boxer Rebellion range, how about some character figures from the old film "55 Days at Peking"?
As you are no doubt aware several manufacturers produce legation troops to various levels of quality. I don't think anyone does a David Niven or Charlton Heston character, amongst others.
Such figures might well make your range stand out from the rest.

Just my two-penneth.

Hi Graham
Great minds think alike, I have thought about doing them and have clips from the film but to do them in smart uniform when at the Empress or every day clothes?

I have the Empress, Prince Tu an and General Jung Lu already, maybe ambassadors ??

I would go for every day clothes, they are generally going to be used on a battlefield so full suits and full dress uniform would look a tad out of place!!

Ambassadors, definitely, and the baroness/countess is a must. Ambassadors should be pointing and directing etc, as if overseeing the troops. The catholic priest is another character from the movie that would look the part.

If your going to do legation troops, how about some walking wounded. There were plenty in the film and would look excellent on a gaming table, as "extras".

As you can tell I have a passion for this conflict. Best stop now and go lie down in a darkened room!!!

Cheers.
Graham
