It may be back on line, but impossible to use.
Think of the poor moron, like me, trying to find or browse anything.
All I can bring up are packs of pikes. Period.

St, you don't see product categories on the main page? Click on them.

SWAMP THING --- I know what you are doing --I did the same thing also getting the pikes---LOL !!
---The product category on left side of screen
---Below the product category you must click on red arrow next to your product of interest
---There will be a drop down that narrows you to specific periods where you must push red arrow again
--ON AND ON -- Just click the red arrows.

I am sure we will have to iron out some small bugs as we go on --but after I got onto it I was able to place several test orders with no problem and I am a computer idiot.

Orders are coming in so that is a good sign.

Swamp Thing,

The Categories are listed on the left side of the home page in Blue. When you roll your cursor over them they turn red. Each main category that has sub-categories has a white box on the right side of the Blue Category box with a drop down arrow. Click the drop down arrow and then click the sub-category you are interested in going to. I am in process of adding a home button on each category page, I have the 10mm,Command Decision and some of the Blue Moon done with that and will keep working. As in the ad, I still have a few products and pictures to add to the site. As we have said before, we thank you for your patience with going through this process with us. If you have any concerns or issues please email me at oldgloryshipyard@gmail.com.

Leon, the world is indeed getting more difficult to navigate, mentally and physically-- and I consider myself one of the fortunate ones.
With metal prices, postal rates, labor shortages, etc they best not tempt me to just not turn off the lights?
At least I did not have to do the rebuild -- a task I would have not a clue as to beginning or completing or all in between.

Here is the dumb question of the day:

What is the difference between this new website for Oldglory25s and the Old Glory Miniatures website at oldgloryminiatures.com? Is the Oldglory25s new website replacing the oldgloryminiatures.com website? I just logged into oldgloryminiatures.com army login (and the oldglory25s website did not accept my login).

Either way, Oldglory25s new website is nice.

Let me know?

They are two separate sites.
Both operational, trustworthy, effective, efficient operated by different entities.

I'm glad you're back up! Just curious: why doesn't the site 'support HTTPS'? I get a message telling me that it is not a 'secure' site.

MrsMiniatureships Sponsoring Member of TMP14 Apr 2022 1:18 p.m. PST

Primus Pictor,

I don't know why you got that message as everything on the site is done https and the lock symbol is showing which indicates it is a secure site. It has an SSL certificate on the site.

Primus Pictor15 Apr 2022 2:36 a.m. PST

MrsMiniatureships – thanks for that. I had just updated my security settings (at Google Chrome's "suggestion") the other day, and this is the message I got when I went there. I just now tried again after reading your comment, and sure enough it went through OK, and the lock symbol is showing, exactly as you said. I don't know what happened the first time?
