Good to know these are true 1/72.

What a ludicrous thing to do.

First mistake, release a box of very static posed figures in a scale not as quoted.

Then ten years later, release the same dull poses in the right scale.

Why on earth didn't you just do a kickstarter and redo them?

Captainbrown, I agree with you. I've moved up to 28mm – much better sized figures.

Well I for one am happy. With PSC figures one can combine with these figures to have a very good selection for very little money.

Agreed!

Price wise they're not that great though – £7.50 GBP for 21 figures. I agree they should have totally redone them, PSC's figures are weak, it would have been a great oopportunity to own that market.

While I agree this was perhaps the least desirable set to re-do, I am glad they did and hope the US set is next. The incorrect webbing on the US figures can be easily sliced off with a hobby knife and the poses are action packed for the most part! They also make for easy conversions.
Even if they are not your cup of tea, one set minimum of the new Germans per 1/72 hobbyist/wargamer is mandatory to ensure future sets. Remember, one set minimum. Go, do it. Now.

Buy something I don't want on the off chance someone else might get something they want further on down the line? I'll pass. There's no shortage of decent 20mm metal WW2 figures I can buy and get what I actually want right now.

I guess I forgot to use the sarcastic font in the last half of my post…sheesh

Totally agree on pricing. In the UK the old boxes are £13.00 GBP for 68 figures while the new boxes are £7.50 GBP for 21. Less than a third of the figures & more than half the price of the old figures. The sums just don't add up for me.

This effort should be applauded from all the highest mountains on earth until the end of time.

No really, they have un-done their earlier mistake by making these guys the right scale. All they need to do now is keep going. And make casualties on the ground sculpts.
