Well those Spanish need to work on their boat designs.

Well, remember that they were built almost overnight, for a single use, and did their job perfectly on the shallow lake of Texcoco. Their high fore and stern castles couldn't be reached by the Aztec warriors on canoes, but were ideal platforms to rain death down on them.

The Aztecs thought that their canoe flotilla and that blocking their few main causeways with their warriors would keep them safe from the angry Indian rebel armies and the ambitious Spanish conquistadores. Ha! Those makeshift "brigantines" bypassed all the Aztec defenses.

That is a well done detailed piece of art. I may well be tempted to buy that Osprey if it's all that well done.
