Just in time as I was looking for 28mm pirates/thugs for a Dungeon crawl… Perfect… Anyone know how many fire(boom)sticks are in the sprues? TIA, Madcam. |

Well, this might be a decent stand in for my lamented Empire Miltia/Free Company… |

Weapons are – 1 club, 3 swords, 2 axels, 1 longbow, 1 crossbow, 2 bucklers and 1 pike. There is a hatchet and a knife in left hands to replace normal hands. You get 5 bodies and 10 heads per sprue and quivers for arrows and bolts, pouches, small axels and knives as accessories. |

I have some leftover plastic musket and pistol hands from the Warlord plastic ECW and TYW sets, plus some leftover pistol hands from GW WHFB Empire plastic models (mainly the pistolier mounted set) that I am hoping will work scale-wise. I also have some leftover metal muskets and pistols from Essex Miniatures, they sell them in packs of 8. And I am in the US, I ordered my Ghost Archipelago plastics from Brigade Games, got the shipping notification yesterday so I am hoping they arrive soon! Thanks Brigade Games!! |

Anyone gluing metal to plastic have issues? That Essex pack seems a good augmentation. I might have some Peninsular war era muskets from my victrix and Perry sets. I have been eager to do a 19th century boarding action and these guys might make excellent corsairs. |

When the Frostgrave plastic soldier set came out, someone (I think Northstar) made a pack of metal conversion bits to convert them to Rangers/Robin Hood types – extra bows, staffs, alternate heads, pouches, etc. It was a great set and I had no problem super gluing the metal to the plastic bodies. Seems like a great opportunity for someone to make a metal conversion pack for the Ghost Archipelago crewmen – a couple pistol hands, a couple hands holding muskets, some alternate heads, etc. |

I am not a fan of the Mohawk heads…I hoped there were enough others to not use them. Definitely would love to see a 18-19th century sprue. The Robin Hood sprue suffered from anachronistic shoulder armour so I passed. |
