Oh, those look great!
I'm now painting Old Glory Texas Rangers. These look perfectly compatible.
Stupid question:
"Do I need to get these in addition?"
Answer:
"Yes, that IS a stupid question. Of course you do!"

Very nice figures BUT mounted and dismounted figures should match. Our RPG style games require matching figures for both. It shouldn't be that hard.

Yes, I also need mid and dismkd of the same character. Same for comanches.

Every ranger and every warrior is named and individualized.

Dead horses and casualty figures are usefiul too, WOUNDED, in particular, i.e. down but sitting up or pushing up prone. My games are typically half a dozen to a dozen on each side, and a lot of action centers around the wounded.

I'd buy a pack with mad, dismkd, and wounded all together.

I can see your need. Obviously.
I'm simply getting some armed townspeople ( well armed) together to guard against, you guessed it, Comanche or Apache raids. And I don't have to depend on Cowboy figures wearing cowboy hats.
That's why I got the Old Glory figures from the Mexican War range.
They're shabby and have many different hats.
When I finally assemble a Gringos40 order, I'll be adding these to supplement Gus and Woodrow and the folks.

By all means, make matching mounted and dismounted, but I'm not running an RPG.

These are very nice. Just watching Dead Man's Walk and earlier Comanche Moon. Wanted to do game based on Buffalo Hump raid on Austin. These would be excellent figs. Are there Comanche on horse? Townspeople?

I would be interested in gaming Marty Robins "El Paso".
Our hero must make it from the badlands of New Mexico to Rose's Cantina. He will be kissed by the Wicked Felina of course before he dies. But the players rotate being Marty. Closest to Rose's wins!
But I need a Felina. Any recommendations?
Cowboy figures will not be a problem. 🙄 Texas Rangers of course.

John the OFM,

Foundry had a very nice Mexican civilian set in their Maximillian's Adventure Line. One of them was a young female Latina who is the heroine in my pirate and western games. See if that line is still available.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Matching mounted and dismounted is of course a bonus. Sorry if I may have seemed to be poo pooing the idea.

I can't seem to find that pack in Foundry.

Perhaps we (I) can prevail upon GED to include one?

Yeah.
None of my Pirate wenches can fit the ticket. Sadly.
So I need "Wicked Felina".
