The new sculpts are yummy. I plan to get a nice unit of mtd jaegers including horse holders, and the amusettes. I already have 30 or so jaegers, so twill be a nice balanced unit to put against the rebels. |

I like the siege mortar. I don't believe any company made that for the AWI before. |

Disco Joe, I know of two company's that have made 25/28mm mortars. One was Front Rank and the other is Old Glory. There may be more out there that I don't know about? Tom Semian |

Tom, I don't know about Front Rank but I am certain Old Glory never produced any because I have the Old Glory range of AWI and I don't have any. In fact when I asked Russ about producing one for the ACW he tried to convince me unsuccessfully to use one from a much earlier period. In fact I think that it was from a different company so they don't have any. |

Is there a link to an image of the unit of mounted jaegers and horse holders? I did not see a link to the new figures. |

If you go to BGs FB page and scroll down, there are photos of new sculpts, including mtd jaegers and horse holders and amusette crews. link Jan 28 posting |

I noticed the project is funded, but the Mounted Jaegers are a stretch goal. |

The mtd jaegers are already unlocked. |

But the Mounted Jaegers command is a long way off to be unlocked. |

As the sculpts exist, I'm confident we will see them for sale at some point. |

I am assuming that Brigade's kickstarter is roughly similar to other mini companies with which I am familiar. You generally have the sculpts already in hand, so they do not depend on making the stretch goals. There are three steps, roughly, in making a figure for sale: sculpting, making a master mold(s), and making production molds. (The trick in production molds is to put everything you will sell together into the same mold, as the cost is generally per spin.) The kickstarter $$ completes the second and third steps, but the company already has a sizeable investment in the sculpting. |
