Is it just me, or are Wargames Vault just spamming the news! kind of takes the proverbial when about 1/3 of the news items are from one party that could have easily been put into one item!

1. It's been an unusually slow news week.

2. More and more companies are using Wargame Vault to publish their products.

3. Can't combine items when you don't know they're coming. For many of these companies, I imagine they upload them to Wargame Vault whenever the product is ready.

look at these lists – copyright 2007 on the pic!

There's slow news and old news!

I could go with 3. above if it were the person writing the rules etc but its not………..

Well, actually it is. Our Publishing Partners upload their titles to our site themselves, and activate them as they wish. They may have a product that they made years ago, but just now loaded it up and activated it today.

And when it's a slow news week as Bill says, TMP pulls the newest product uploaded to the site so we all have something new to see. It's just an automatic thing when news is slow. If 20 companies unveil new products the same day, you won't see any news from us for a long time!

So, we're not spamming TMP, TMP is just trying to entertain and inform you with new things.

It's the generic MicroMark army lists picture, the same one used whenever they put out a new army list.

However, I believe the army list itself is new.

@ Pump,

I can see 6 news tiems with graphics on my homepage, only ONE of which is wargames vault. That hardly counts as spamming.

As for the "copyright 2007" the Editor has already suggested the most likely AND OBVIOUS reason.

So i'll like to know what your real agenda is for your comments….

ps I have no connection with wargames vault or micromark AT ALL other than being a very occassional customer.

As of 1620 Kabul time 29 Jan 12 8 out of 20 Hobby News items on the front page are Wargames Vault items.

Just an observation that was all, YesItsMe, that the sheer amount at the time I made the comment was almost like spam; since then the mechanism has been explained and shows how this is generated.

I would suggest that if you looked carefully, as the graphics disappear after a certain number of items have passed, that 8 out of 20 is slightly more than 1 in 6. Commenting about what you can see 2 days later, and even that can be modified by your own period preferences, means that your argument is somewhat flawed ( – nothing personal), just some logic :) The Editor and WV have explained how it has happened, discussion closed – simple, the comment was aimed towards Bill for an answer and one was provided – fine, end of thread as far as I'm concerned.
