Hayden looks like a G.L.A.D. activist I knew a few years back.

Hayden has been around as artwork I think.

Nicely done figures as usual from Hasslefree.

I assume these are inspired by Ghost in the Shell? The captain's (Baku?) pose is too dynamic for me, but Tomoko is fine :)

I understand the point of clear resin (Invisibility, etc.), but why casting in Resin for these figs? Is the detail supposed to be crisper or something?

The short answer: Because they look pretty as one-piece castings in resin we decided to add them to the range as well. The detail is crisper and clean.

The long answer: Both Figures are available in metal as well. Tomoko in metal has a slightly different gun but Isseki is the same although as metal he is a multi-part because of casting restrictions.

A lot of our figures are cast into transitional resin now for mastering so that once they are vulcanised into production moulds the metal casting have only been through one stage of vulcanisation and are therefore crisper and have more detail.

Due to the interest from many customers for resin copies of these figures we decided to put them into resin as well as metal production, a lot of the painters like the one-piece figures and also the surface quality of the resin that Grey Matter cast is exceptionally smooth which means little or no preparation, no mould lines and nice to paint!

Apparently everyone know which scale Hasslefree uses as it was not mentioned anywhere :(

Sorry, i suppose after 8 years of manufacturing i assumed everyone knew we are predominantly 28mm, I can remember to add to all updates from now on if you think it will help.

Looks more like a Capt. Wojohowitz than a Capt. Isseki. Just saying.

Thanks for the scale info!
I kinda ssumed that the resin stuff might be different than what you usually produce scalevise.

Besides, there is always the new customer who don't know any details regarding manufacturer's range … :)
