Gas capes or not – I want them.

I think I actually need this, but I better check the "stockpile" first… grin

Damn, I really like these figures. But I need the late war germans first, or do I? I am still putting together the U.S. Infantry box. I really like them!

So are the parts interchangeable with the Late War Germans? As in, can I use arms from one set with the bodies from the other set? Or is it a case of these are different again?

These look great. Warlord are putting together an order for me now. I must add some of these to the list.

They look good if you like plastic. I prefer metal.

Plastic based on pig-iron two pence coins does for me. Works with my custom Bolt Action magnetic movement trays.

Mainly28s, I'm sure you can use the arms on both. They might not fit exactly depending on the angle of the shoulder and arm attachment points, but a little putty can fill in any gaps. I used to think I would only use metal figures, but the variety you can get out of these sets is too great to ignore!

These look arm-less enough!

I am planning on mixing with the Late war set. That way I should be able to model 1942 Jäger a bit more accurately. Coupled with head swaps I think I can do what I want.

They will work very well with the plastic late war German infantry – that's what I'm spending my Sunday doing!

Here some pics of what you can get when mixing the two sets:
