These are nice looking, "realistic" Amazon fighters. Not heavily fantasy-fake. I especially like the pelta shield, I've always thought that would make good sense for tabletop classical Amazons, to have a lot of light and medium infantry and skirmishers, along with horse archers. And the pelta's shape suggests the moon, and I like my Amazons to make use of lunar symbolism as part of their religious beliefs. This is not my gaming scale but I appreciate this new range! |

Why "12mm"? Are these to size with Pendraken 10mm historical, etc? Sized with "epic" Fantasy lines? Enquiring minds want to know. Really like the sculpts. Nice to see semi-historical Amazons. |

Our Fantasy ranges are a touch bigger than our historicals, so we've always classed them as 12mm rather than 10mm to go with our other ranges. |
