If you're in Canada, there's currently a postal labour dispute and Royal Mail has stopped passing packages along to Canada Post at this time. Hopefully this will be resolved, but make sure to contact Warlord about using another carrier. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has updates on their website. cupw.ca A news story about the already 30 day back log that's built up: link Britain's Royal Mail, in a bulletin to its corporate customers, said it would hold any shipments bound for Canada within the last couple of days in its distribution centres "awaiting further updates.""As a result of ongoing industrial action, we have now been requested to suspend the dispatching of international traffic destined for Canada, from today until further notice," it said. "This applies not only to us, but all international postal operators," the Royal Mail added. |

Not only that, but Warlord Games themselves seem to have a significant backlog inhouse. I ordered a squadron of BRS fighters back on Nov 4th, and got an email on Nov 6th as follows: "Your order is on the way to you." I find UK orders usually take 10-12 days. I figured on Nov 22, hey it's been 16 days since they shipped – I wonder if it's delayed in Customs..? So I wrote to Warlord and asked if they could confirm that the package had shipped. They wrote back and said that the package shipped out on Nov 15th… It took them 11 days just to ship my order. I get that it's Christmas season and all, but 11 days to package and ship a single small box? I find that a bit disappointing. |
