Those are great looking buildings. They don't look like MDF. Generally, MDF buildings look like MDF. That is why I have stuck with resin.

However, these may get me to try MDF.

A simple paint job makes a big difference. Most of the buildings just received a coat of white spray paint. Very simple, quick and effective. Grey for the roofs (and some dry rushing). I stained the wooden floors and added a dark wash.
The stonework took a bit longer of course 😉
