Glad to see this game will continue on, fun and first class minis.

How do you get onto this? I can't see anything on the linked site. Does this only apply to they US or is it accessible in the UK?

BeneathALeadMountain26 Oct 2016 8:45 a.m. PST

It says in the kickstarter that it ships to anywhere in the world, so presumably it's accessible to the UK.

This looks interesting and different; it may be the perfect thing to introduce my niece to gaming.

My girlfriend would love this! What is the 11th miniature?

Mako1126 Oct 2016 11:05 a.m. PST

Need a matching, futuristic-looking motorcycle and rider, and you've got Ladies Rollerball.

Vigilant26 Oct 2016 12:18 p.m. PST

Found it. $56 USD shipping to the UK! Sorry, just lost my order, especially as I will have to add 20% VAT and £8.00 GBP for the privilege of the Post Office filling in a form for Customs.

Vigilant – Holy #%<€, sorry I didn't investigate further than briefly looking at the KS page. That's a shame – bloody atlantic ocean.

Sorry … the postage right now from US to Europe is killing me. I'm trying to find an alternate shipper but since the expectation of this project was going to be under 200 backers … it didn't work to set up a European hub. If I run a from initial offering board game project in the future … I will definitely be working with an Amazon or similar hub in the UK to defer the cost.

I really am sadden by the cost of freight now over the ocean. or even across the border. Post Office quoted me $41 USD to ship it up to Canada.

The US Shipping is still reasonable … but yes postage right now is a killer for anything over 12 ounces.

@axabrax … the 11th miniature is the referee. link

altfritz26 Oct 2016 2:42 p.m. PST

Those are crazy shipping prices. Must be tracked delivery? Or very heavy?

ImpactMiniatures27 Oct 2016 6:10 p.m. PST

@altfritz … very heavy. Although anymore … it does not take much weight to have the cost go high. It is $23 USD in materials and postage for a 1 pound package to Europe currently … so it the costs have just gone through the roof in the last 3 years.

Just made the pledge:-)
I know someone who knows someone who did Roller Derby in Baltimore, MD…why not buy the game…lol
This will be fun to run for my club.
