It's Bubo! [Apollo] has gifted some of his priestesses with the ability to see the future, but there is a price
for her foresight, the priestess has lost the sight of her eyes. Can I just do it until I need glasses? Rimshot! |

Is it wrong that I kinda like Bubo? He's classical mythology's R2-D2! |
Spudeus | 26 Jun 2013 12:56 p.m. PST |
In retrospect, Bubo wasn't too far off. We know that the ancient Greeks had a working steam engine and a clockwork navigation 'computer'! |

One of the automations looks like the Minoton from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger! |

There's no arguing that there are some mighty fine sculpts in this game. I really don't have the money for another big Kickstarter pledge, but this is sooooo tempting! |
kyoteblue | 26 Jun 2013 1:29 p.m. PST |
Bubo was on The Venture Brothers episode this past Sunday. |

I might be in the minority but I thought Bubo was the stupidest part of Clash of the Titans. Much like Buck Rogers Twiki. Cheers. Xin |

Mdauben: I can get in at the lowest level (Painter x1) and you'll get the Demigod of your choice, Bubo, and the 3 PDFs of all the wargods games for $20. USD Sir Walter: Yes, we like our stop-motion monsters around here! I've already started the sculpting on the Minoton, I should have some in-progress shots to show off this weekend. Thanks! --Fitz |

There's a Minoton? Ooooooh. Anything that gets me to scream, "Keeeeel Sinbad!" has got to be good. Much like Buck Rogers Twiki. He will devour your soul for that.

Darthfozzywig: Yes, we're doing a number of bronze Automations, and a Minotaur is one of them: --Fitz

Osiris--I don't know who does those illustrations but they're fantastic. Great looking stuff there and I really like the idea of the automatons. darthfozzywig--That head
it's
disturbing. (it was when I was a kid and it still is now at 45). ;-}~ |

Those Automatons look great! |

Those illustrations are by Des Henley
IMHO one of the best artists for this type work around! It is great that the majority of the artwork in the books comes from him, since this really makes them great! @mdauben: thought the same, but those minis are just too great to pass completely, so I am in for 300 bucks even though by hobby budget this month is already overspend! But I am biased, since I already have every single Ægyptus model / unit at least once. |

It's probably a bad thing (for my wallet) that I just read a review of the old Clash of the Titans movie yesterday, completely at random from this thread

I always thought there was a family resemblance between Twiki and Dot Matrix/Joan Rivers in Spaceballs:
I included Princess Vespa/Daphne Zuniga in the shot so you wouldn't hate me *too* much. |
Spudeus | 27 Jun 2013 2:07 p.m. PST |
Perhaps she is the love child of Twiki and C-3PO. |

:) We need to get all of them on Maury, along with Robby, Optimus Prime, Crow T. Robot, Asimo, and Bender Bending Rodriguez, Sr., and get to the bottom of this once and for all. My money is on Bender. You just know he's sown some wild trnasistors in his time. |
