I'm sure this is clever marketing, but I for one would be more likely to come and oook if I had some idea what the range was, even is just a general period.

Agreed.

I love what Steve does figure wise, but this is a very cryptic ploy to get prople to his stand. I would appreciate a bit more info before I decide whether to drop by on Saturday or not.

Sorry guys there was no intention to annoy anyone. Salute is the only show we currently do and as it's so massive now, it is hard to get things noticed for a small company. We only have a six foot stand this time. This year we haven't even been able to get the figures painted and photographed in time for release before the show. So appologies for the unorthodox approach which was intended as a bit of fun. A clue is that they are pre 1000 ad if that helps.

Which scale?

Steve Barber18 Apr 2017 5:23 a.m. PST

Hi Gennorm,
These are 28mm.
Best Wishes,
Steve.

So Dark Ages or Late Roman. My guess. Vikings perhaps.

colin knight18 Apr 2017 7:13 a.m. PST

No…he has done Vikings. Saxons or Norman?

Joerg Bender18 Apr 2017 8:39 a.m. PST

And that's exactly what he wanted! :-)
Well done, Steve! And good luck with the new range!

Thank you Joerg. I appreciate that.

Not bad marketing at all. Off to have a look at the vikings….

So what are the details of the new line for those of us not able to attend SALUTE?
