Comments or corrections?

Another interesting looking book. I can't figure out what I need to do to get on Helion's email list. I can't get the mechanism on the website to work. I've also sent several emails, but had no response. Has anyone else had this problem?

Never felt the need as their books seem well enough publicised. However, I do wish they'd do something about their proof readers! I've got Murat's Army and love the uniform prints, notwithstanding the caveats over accuracy. But found it frustrating looking for the dangling lace tassels on a print only to work out that some of the comments applying to another plate had been added in by mistake. Similarly looking for the orders of battle in the annex as mentioned in the book was frustrating as there is no OOB and no annex. This is not as bad as some of the truly appalling proofing errors in past publications but this seems to be an area Helion are unable to grip.

They email me several times a week – have you bought anything from them recently?

Lots of things, but I buy them from Book Depository to get the cheap postage to Australia. I even explained that in an email.
