The bottom one is truly brilliant, a perfect take on the satirical WWI style of the models.

Would love the top one as well, but the relief-look of the track lengths is ghastly on a 28mm model.

Looks pretty cool ! But yes the tracks could use a little work …

What's truelly cool about the Quar is that Zombiesmith took a well known point in military history and made it unique with his creation of the Quar race to fight in it. Always loved this range!

What are they cast in? Resin, metal, ???

bobsnephew29 Mar 2013 2:09 p.m. PST

Mostly resin, with metal bits.

That Baeliog is one dirty great lumbering beast of metal…I love it!

Its a lovely bit of kit, a pure beast of the battlefield, every Quar worth his salt should have one :)

Gorgeous tank (and army), Lowtardog! I have the other light tank, will need to grab a Chyweethl to support my Royalists, though…

Agreed the Quar are uniqe and stunning little miniatures, loving the big tank, but not the little one, for my money it's got to be either of these…

or else the venerable ft-17

And I say this is an equally viable Quar machine:

I'm thinking rescale a 1/72 Reviresco St. Chamond to serve as a substitute Quar light tank…evil grin

If you nip over to the xombiesmith forum there are some cracking variations on tanks and kit.

pimping mine here but there are real beauties and imagination form the lads who have quar forces, the beauty of the theme is you can go where ever your want takes you with armour etc.

Still the wheels to finish and a wash but you get the idea. Used as mobile pill boxes to hold captured terrain
