Don't you hate it when you get more excited about the background than the item discussed? ;->= In the case of the mat, good news for CorSec, as I assume it's one of theirs. And I really like the paint on the ships. In the case of the stands, squares don't inspire me, and there appears to only be 45 degree arcs, which tend to be less useful than 60 degree ones, unless you're a curmudgeon and still use FT 2 rules. Oops. Wait
Mostly FT 2.5, now. Still

These bases are specifically geared towards Firestorm Armada. The system is designed so you can swap bases between systems and use the same miniatures. We have hex bases as well. The entire system is interchangeable. The mat is the Pillars and Jets Pattern. Jonathan Bowen CorSec Engineering corseceng.com |

What are those things on the poles? |

The ships are Spartan Games. The Red one is a Terran heavy Cruiser and the blue one is the Tarakian Battleship. I assume that what you mean by "Things on the poles" Jonathan Bowen CorSec Engineering corseceng.com |

Sad, really. I've played FA, and didn't recognize the fire arcs. On the other hand, I've played a lot of game sets just a few times, recently. Sky Full of Stars is the same, right? Probably more useful than I suggested. ;->= Doug |

I assume that what you mean by "Things on the poles" Those are ships? I thought they were part of the stand, which is what was confusing me. They don't look like ships, but if that's what they are, understood. |
